Mortgage Administrator | Mortgage Admin – Luton 

Are you an experienced Mortgage Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving mortgage brokerage in Luton?

BDM Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established, independent mortgage broker firm in Luton to find a highly skilled and motivated Mortgage Administrator to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Mortgage Administrator supporting the team in processing applications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and chasing any outstanding information.
  • Liaise with lenders to ensure smooth processing and timely approvals.
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete before submission.
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal company policies.
  • Utilise industry-standard mortgage processing systems (experience with “The Key” preferred but not essential – full training provided).
  • Assist brokers in managing their caseload efficiently, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
  • Handle general Mortgage Admin tasks, such as maintaining records, data entry, and updating CRM systems.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Mortgage Administrator or in a similar Mortgage Admin
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage application process, from initial enquiry to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to liaise confidently with clients, lenders, and brokers.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage processing software (familiarity with “The Key” is an advantage but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of current mortgage products, lending criteria, and compliance regulations.
  • CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
