Mortgage Administrator | Mortgage Admin – Luton

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Mortgage Administrator supporting the team in processing applications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and chasing any outstanding information.
- Liaise with lenders to ensure smooth processing and timely approvals.
- Ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete before submission.
- Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal company policies.
- Utilise industry-standard mortgage processing systems (experience with “The Key” preferred but not essential – full training provided).
- Assist brokers in managing their caseload efficiently, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
- Handle general Mortgage Admin tasks, such as maintaining records, data entry, and updating CRM systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Mortgage Administrator or in a similar Mortgage Admin
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage application process, from initial enquiry to completion.
- Excellent communication skills – able to liaise confidently with clients, lenders, and brokers.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage processing software (familiarity with “The Key” is an advantage but not essential).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of current mortgage products, lending criteria, and compliance regulations.
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
