Salary: Basic up to £29,000 including car allowance

Overview
Cameron James Professional Recruitment is representing a leading national mortgage brokerage seeking an experienced New Build Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker to support their developer and estate agency partnerships across Southampton and the wider Hampshire region.
This role is not remote. You will work directly from new build developments and estate agency branches, meeting clients face-to-face and providing specialist mortgage advice for new build, shared ownership and First Homes/Help to Buy-style schemes.
With strong relationships across major regional and national new build developers, you will receive a consistent volume of high-quality, pre-qualified leads, offering excellent earning potential and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
In this Southampton-based role, you will meet clients referred from new build developers, shared ownership providers and estate agency introducers, delivering whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice tailored to their needs.
You will manage fast-paced new build enquiries, completing detailed affordability assessments and progressing applications quickly to meet developer deadlines.
Daily interactions with on-site sales negotiators, lenders and solicitors will ensure smooth case progression and high client satisfaction.
You will also proactively discuss protection options, maintain strong conversion rates and follow FCA and company compliance guidelines at all times.
Ideal Candidate
To succeed as a New Build Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker in Southampton, you will need to be CeMAP qualified with demonstrable experience in:
• New build mortgage advice
• Shared ownership
• Help to Buy / First Homes schemes
• High-volume case management
You should be an excellent communicator, confident meeting clients on-site, commercially astute, highly organised and able to work within tight timeframes common in the new build market.
A full UK driving licence and clean credit record are essential.

This new build role offers a strong basic salary of up to £29,000 including car allowance, alongside realistic OTE of £55,000 – £65,000+.
