Salary & Benefits: £27,000 – £29,000 basic (including car allowance) + £600 per month for 5 months, pension, DIS, bonus & commission. OTE: £50,000+ Year 1 | £65,000+ Year 2

Role Overview:
As a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker, you will be based in a highly successful estate agency branch in Newcastle-under-Lyme, working closely with an energetic sales team. You will benefit from:
- 7+ fresh mortgage leads weekly from in-branch referrals
- Access to an extensive existing client database for remortgage opportunities
- Whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice – tailored solutions with multiple lender options
- Huge earnings potential – top performers consistently earning £70,000+ per year
- Proactive sales environment with strong introducer support
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct 10+ mortgage appointments per week
✅ Offer whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
✅ Work closely with estate agency staff to maximize referrals
✅ Self-generate additional business through proactive client engagement
✅ Manage applications from start to completion, ensuring compliance and exceptional service
✅ Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage products, rates, and lender criteria

Ideal Candidate Profile:
🔹 Fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified (CeMAP 1, 2 & 3, CF6, or MAQ)
🔹 18+ months’ experience in a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker role
🔹 Experience in a tied, independent, or banking mortgage environment
🔹 Whole-of-market mortgage knowledge preferred
🔹 Strong sales and communication skills
🔹 CAS status preferred but not essential – full training and support provided
🔹 Full UK driving licence
🔹 Clean credit history and no criminal convictions
Earnings & Performance Expectations:
- Typical mortgage case size: £1,500 in broker fees
- Expected written mortgages: 2-3 per week
- Annual bankings: £100,000 – £110,000
- Top performers earning £70,000+ per year!
