Trainee Mortgage Advisor – Walthamstow

Remuneration:
£18,000 basic, pension, DIS, with nearly 30% commission and no validation, OTE £65,000.
Overview:
A rare opportunity for a full or part CeMAP qualified sales individual to join an established chain of estate agents as an in-house Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Walthamstow. Comprehensive training will be provided by the mortgage sales director.
Main Duties:
Our client, a recognised independently owned estate agency company, with offices scattered around the North and East London area, require a fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker to work in their bustling and vibrant estate agency office in Walthamstow.
As well as receiving new mortgage leads daily, the estate agency in Walthamstow has built a substantial, largely untapped client base over the past 30 years. As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker you will have full unlimited access to the client base where you will be able to offer a remortgage service.
Other Responsibilities:
- Role Placement: Work as an in-house Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker within an established estate agency chain in Walthamstow.
- Client Interaction: Offer mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the mortgage sales director and estate agency staff.
- Product Offering: Advise clients on residential mortgages and protection products, including life cover, critical illness, ASU, and buildings and contents insurance.
- Referral System: Refer pension and investment business to qualified financial advisers.
- Lead Generation: Receive new mortgage leads daily and have full access to an existing client database for remortgage services.
Key Skills:
- Qualifications: Must be CeMAP 1 qualified (or equivalent).
- Location: Must be living in the Walthamstow area.
- Driving License: A full UK driving licence is required.
- Sales Experience: Previous face-to-face sales experience is highly advantageous.
- Credit History: Must have a clean credit history.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
