Our client offers comprehensive training and support with a senior Mortgage Advisor working alongside you on a day to day basis to help you become a successful Trainee Mortgage Advisor/ Trainee Mortgage Broker based in the Leicester office. In this role, you’ll play a vital role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring they secure the right deal for their financial goals. The average property value in Leicester is £280,000, so you’ll be helping people achieve a significant financial milestone.
What You’ll Do as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor/ Trainee Mortgage Broker:
- If required complete the CeMAP qualification.
- Gain a deep understanding of the mortgage market, products, and regulations.
- Build strong client relationships to uncover their needs and financial aspirations.
- Conduct initial consultations to assess client suitability for different mortgage options.
- Research and recommend the most suitable mortgage products from a wide range of lenders.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications with accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise effectively with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents throughout the process.
- Provide clients with clear communication and updates on their application progress.
- Consistently exceed monthly sales targets.
- Actively participate in training programs to develop your knowledge and expertise.
What Our Client is Looking For in Leicester:
- A Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker with a CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent).
- Someone who lives within an easy commute of the Leicester office.
- Previous sales experience, ideally within financial services or customer services.
- A clean credit history and a valid UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations.
- The ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
- An ambitious and eager learner with a passion for the financial services industry.
