We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker based in Cheshire who is ready to launch their career in mortgage and protection advice with a structured development pathway, guaranteed high-quality leads, and uncapped earning potential.
🚀 The Opportunity:
Join a national mortgage broker firm known for its elite training and development program. You’ll become a Trainee Mortgage Advisor offering whole-of-market advice to a wide range of clients, primarily within the new build sector in Cheshire.
📚 Following a comprehensive 3-week induction, you will deliver face-to-face or Zoom consultations to clients seeking residential, shared ownership, and first-time buyer mortgage solutions. You’ll also receive continuous on-the-job mentoring from a dedicated Mortgage Sales Manager.
All leads are provided—6–8 warm leads weekly, sourced through trusted developer partnerships. This is a home-working role, allowing you to manage your own diary and focus on what matters most: advising clients and writing business.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice
- Engage with leads from Cheshire-based new build developers and introducers
- Handle first-time buyers, shared ownership, and residential purchases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developer sales teams
- Conduct mortgage affordability assessments and provide Agreements in Principle (AIPs)
- Recommend appropriate protection solutions (Life Cover, Critical Illness, Income Protection, ASU)
💷 Remuneration & Benefits:
- 💰 Basic Salary: £25,000 (inclusive of car allowance)
- 🛡️ £500/month financial guarantee (first 6 months)
- 📈 Uncapped commission – earn 10–25% on banked business
- 🎯 Year 1 OTE: £45,000 | Year 2 OTE: £60,000+

✅ Essential Requirements:
- CeMAP 1 qualified (or full CeMAP preferred) – must appear 5x in this job ad
- Sales background (ideally within financial services, property, or customer-facing roles)
- Ability to work from home and manage a flexible diary
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A genuine desire to become a Trainee Mortgage Broker or Trainee Mortgage Advisor
- Clean credit history, full UK driving licence, and no criminal convictions
