Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Aylesbury, your key duties will include:
- Learning the intricacies of the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting clients referred by the estate agency in finding tailored mortgage and protection solutions.
- Conducting initial consultations to understand clients’ financial needs and goals.
- Researching and recommending suitable mortgage products from a panel of lenders.
- Guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.
- Preparing and submitting mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to facilitate transactions.
- Providing regular updates and communication to clients throughout the process.
- Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Working towards and exceeding sales targets and performance goals.
Key Requirements
To excel as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Aylesbury, you will need:
- CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum requirement.
- A clean credit history and a full UK driving license.
- Previous sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and meet client needs effectively.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the mortgage advisory sector.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
