About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Mortgage Advisor / Senior Mortgage Broker to join our growing team in Portsmouth.
In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve their homeownership goals. You will be responsible for providing expert mortgage advice, building strong relationships with clients, and securing mortgage solutions that meet their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients from Portsmouth and surrounding areas to understand their financial situation and property goals.
- Research and recommend a variety of mortgage products from across the market to ensure clients receive the most competitive rates and terms.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage process for Portsmouth clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of referral partners across Portsmouth.
- Exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business in Portsmouth.
Skills and Experience:
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Mortgage Advisor / Senior Mortgage Broker, with a proven track record of success in Portsmouth or a similar location.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK mortgage market and current lending criteria.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from all walks of life.
- A confident and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- A valid UK driving licence.
