Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor – Nationwide

Remuneration: OTE £45,000 – £100,000 – Commission splits from 45% – 80% with no monthly charges.

An outstanding opportunity awaits experienced mortgage brokers or advisors eager to establish their own mortgage business. This role offers the guidance and support of an independently owned wealth management and mortgage brokerage firm with over 30 years of industry success.
Main Duties:
Our client, a highly respected and independently owned wealth management and mortgage broker firm, has been operating successfully for more than three decades. They are now extending their expertise to support self-employed mortgage advisors looking to build their own businesses.
In this role, you will:
- Work remotely while maintaining regular contact with the sales director and the broader team of mortgage brokers and wealth advisers.
- Offer whole-of-market advice on mortgages and protection products to both new and existing clients.
- Leverage your own client base to build your business while receiving 80% of proc and broker fees and up to 150% API for protection business.
- Access a state-of-the-art CRM system that includes an extensive existing client base, leads generated via Google advertising, website inquiries, and networking opportunities.
- Benefit from a database of clients built over 20 years, with additional leads generated through the client’s estate agency operations and advertising campaigns.
- Receive marketing and social media support, along with compliance assistance, ensuring that regulatory and business management challenges are minimized.
- This role is ideal for mortgage brokers or advisors with their own client base seeking additional leads, expert support, and an exceptional commission structure.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Fully qualified in CeMAP, MAQ, or CF1 and CF6.
- Proven experience in offering face-to-face advice on residential mortgages and associated protection products, including Life, Critical Illness, ASU, Mortgage Payment Protection, IPP, and Buildings and Contents insurance.
- A strong sales track record in mortgage advising or broking, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Backgrounds in banking, estate agency, mortgage broking, or IFA environments are welcomed, provided you meet the qualification criteria.
- A personal client base is a distinct advantage, ensuring regular business generation.
