Job Title: Remortgage Advisor
Location: Nottingham
Remuneration: Basic to £31,000 including Car Allowance, Pension, DIS, Bonus & Commission

Join Our Client as a Remortgage Advisor
We are seeking an experienced Remortgage Advisor to join our well-established client in the Nottingham area. As a Remortgage Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping our loyal clients achieve their financial aspirations by providing expert advice and guidance on remortgage solutions. As the Remortgage advisor you will have access to over 300 clients whose mortgage is due to expire within the next 12 months, with a further 500 clients in 2025. Working with the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding your client base, maximizing opportunities, and thriving in a challenging yet stimulating environment.
Competitive Package and Rewards
- Competitive basic salary of £20,000 – £28,000 dependent on experience
- Guaranteed monthly amount whilst building a pipeline for up to 6 months.
- Uncapped commission scheme with an OTE of £40,000 – £60,000

Key Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of success as a mortgage advisor, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage market, interest rates, and products offered by different lenders.
- Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients through various channels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively handle a high volume of client inquiries and provide timely solutions.
- Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
- Excellent presentation skills to deliver engaging and informative presentations to clients and colleagues.
- Mandatory CeMAP qualification or industry equivalent
Responsibilities and Duties
- Generating and maintaining the existing client base of over 800 individuals as well your own client base and business
- Building strong relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and requirements.
- Assessing client’s current mortgage terms and conditions to identify opportunities for remortgage.
- Analysing client’s financial situation to determine affordability and eligibility for remortgage.
- Reviewing credit reports and other financial documents to assess creditworthiness.
- Staying informed about the latest mortgage market trends, interest rates, and product offerings
- Comparing various mortgage deals to find the most suitable options for each client.
- Providing personalized advice based on client’s financial situation and goals.
- Explaining the advantages and disadvantages of remortgaging and addressing potential risks
- Assisting clients with the mortgage application process, including gathering necessary documentation
- Liaising with lenders on behalf of clients to facilitate a smooth application process.
- Negotiating with lenders to secure favourable terms and conditions for the remortgage.
- Working to obtain the best interest rates and mortgage terms for clients.
- Ensuring all advice provided and transactions conducted comply with relevant financial regulations.
- Helping clients understand the legal aspects of remortgaging, including associated fees.
- Providing ongoing support and communication to clients throughout the remortgage process
- Addressing any concerns or questions clients may have.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions
- Ensuring all required documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
- Staying updated on changes in the mortgage industry, regulations, and market trends
- Pursuing continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Upholding high ethical standards and prioritizing the best interests of the client
- Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest and acting transparently in all dealings
