Overview
Cameron James Professional Recruitment is representing a highly reputable national mortgage brokerage seeking an experienced New Build Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker to support their developer and estate agency partnerships across Cheltenham.
This role is not remote. You will be working on-site at developer locations and within introducer branches, providing specialist face-to-face advice to clients purchasing new build homes, shared ownership properties, and First Homes/Help to Buy-style schemes.
Cheltenham is a prime new build territory, offering strong lead flow, excellent buyer demand and outstanding earning potential for motivated advisors who enjoy working in a structured, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this Cheltenham-based position, you will be responsible for delivering whole-of-market new build mortgage advice to clients referred by developers, shared ownership providers and local estate agency teams.
You will conduct full affordability assessments, source suitable mortgage products, explain options clearly to clients and manage cases from initial consultation through to completion—often within tight new build deadlines.
Strong daily interaction with developer sales teams, lender BDMs, solicitors and internal support staff will ensure smooth case progression and exceptional customer experience.
You will also provide tailored protection advice and maintain high conversion, compliance, and service standards.
Ideal Candidate
To thrive as a New Build Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker in Cheltenham, you should be CeMAP qualified with proven experience in:
• New build mortgage advice
• Shared ownership
• First Homes / former Help to Buy-style schemes
• High-volume, fast-paced environments
You must be confident engaging with clients face-to-face, building relationships with site sales teams, and managing deadlines associated with reservation periods and exchange dates.
A full UK driving licence and a clean credit record are essential.
