Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker – Leytonstone & South Woodford
Remuneration: £27,000 – £31,000 basic including car allowance, pension, company laptop, financial guarantees of up to £800 per month for 6 months, OTE £55,000-£70,000
Overview:
A market leading estate agency branch in Leytonstone & South Woodford is looking to recruit an experienced mortgage and protection advisor to work alongside a financial services focused team, offering whole of market mortgage and protection advice. The busy South Woodford and Leytonstone branches sell on average nearly 30 properties per month.
Main Duties:
- As an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker working in the Leytonstone and South Woodford offices, you will be required to offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice.
- The South Woodford branch alone is selling 30 properties per month, with an average property value of £620k, however, property values go to £2m.
- Working with the financial services focused team of estate agency introducers you will be provided with 7 – 10 new mortgage appointments per week, where you targeted to write 2-3 mortgages and a life conversion of over 70%.
- Although as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker covering the Leytonstone & South Woodford branches, you will be provided with up to 10 new leads a week, you will also be expected to contact the existing client base, where you can offer a remortgage advice to the loyal existing client base.
- Working in a team environment, you will ensure that the client receives a first-class and regulated service.
- Our client offers generous commissions paying between 10% – 25% on all business banked. With this in mind each case is worth between £250 – £625 in commission, which in turn could result in additional earnings of £1800 per week!!!
Key Skills:
- For this fantastic opportunity as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker working in the Leytonstone & South Woodford offices, you must be an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker with experience of offering additional advice on protection products.
- The full CeMAP qualification along with excellent communication skills is essential.
- Being pro-active is also a necessity to be able to contact the existing client base and offer a remortgage service to the loyal existing clients.
- Along with previous mortgage experience and CeMAP (or equivalent), a full UK driving license, a clean compliance and credit history is required.
Summary:
- This mortgage advisor role working from 2 busy estate agency offices in the Leytonstone & South Woodford areas, will offer an experienced mortgage broker, to meet 7-10 new clients a week, full access to the largely untapped existing client base, deal with an average property value of £620k, however, some properties are worth up to £2m.
- Along with an excellent lead source and team environment, this opportunity offers commissions of 10% – 25% on all business banked, administrative support and the opportunity to generate over £150k of mortgage and protection banked income, which will result in earnings of nearly £75,000!!!
