Mortgage Advisor – Leicester
Remuneration:
£27,000 – £31,000 basic, inclusive of car allowance, financial guarantees for 5 months, bonus, and commission OTE £55,000 – £70,000
Overview:
A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in Leicester city centre area dealing with mortgages up to £600k, with an average property value of £280k, and where on average over 200 properties are sold per month in the geographical area according to land registry.
Main Duties:
- The estate agency branch in Leicester offers huge earnings potential due to the Leicester city location, as well as the Leicester market with over 200 properties have been sold per month over the past 2 years.
- Working with the established team of financial incentivised sales negotiators and the experienced branch manager, as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker you will receive 7-10 new mortgage leads a week.
- As well as new hot mortgage leads being referred over daily, you will have full unlimited and unrestricted access to a largely untapped existing client bank who require advice on remortgages.
- Our client offers all the leads required to earn over £60,000, but as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker in Leicester, you will have access to nearly all of the market with regards to mortgages and a panel of 5 life companies to be able to offer mortgage related protection advice.
- Our client also offers a very competitive commission package ranging from 10% to 25% on all business banked, plus additional cash bonuses for targets set.
Key Skills:
- For this excellent opportunity to work as a mortgage advisor or mortgage broker in Leicester, you must be an experienced mortgage professional with the CeMAP (or equivalent) and ideally CAS.
- Along with the relevant mortgage qualification, a clean credit history, with no disciplinary, a full UK driving licence with no criminal convictions is essential.
- Previous experience of working with a team of introducers, ideally estate agency staff is preferred. However, is not essential if you can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
- You must live within a 45-minute drive of the Leicester office, and be willing to work in the estate agency branch full time, as well as alternative Saturdays.
