Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: Up to £31,000 including car allowance
Financial Guarantees: Up to £45,000 for the first 6 months
OTE: £50,000 – £70,000+

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is proud to be representing a highly successful and well-known estate agency in Ashford, now looking to appoint an experienced Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Advisor to join their exceptionally busy branch.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work in one of Kent’s highest-activity property markets, where the office handles properties valued up to £600,000, with an average loan size of £250,000. With 8–10 new appointments per week, exceptional lead flow and access to a large existing client base, this role offers exceptional earning potential, stability and career progression.
With a strong basic salary, 6 months of financial guarantees, and a generous commission model enabling advisors to make nearly 50% of total banking, this Ashford-based opportunity is ideal for a confident, experienced and motivated Mortgage Advisor.
Main Duties
As a Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Advisor in Ashford, you will:
• Handle 8–10 new mortgage appointments per week, all estate-agency generated
• Advise clients on whole-of-market mortgage and protection solutions
• Work with properties up to £600k, with an average case size of £250k
• Access a large, unrestricted branch client database for remortgage opportunities
• Manage the full advice process from fact-find to completion
• Provide re-mortgage reviews to the existing client base to maximise revenue
• Work closely with estate agency colleagues to maximise lead generation
• Maintain high compliance standards and deliver superb client service
• Build long-term relationships with clients, introducers and internal teams

Ashford is one of Kent’s busiest property areas, consistently achieving 120+ property sales per month, ensuring unrivalled access to new clients and strong business flow.
Key Requirements
To be considered, you must:
• Be fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
• Have experience as a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker
• Possess strong mortgage and protection product knowledge
• Be confident working in a fast-paced, target-driven estate agency environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication, sales and relationship-building skills
• Be proactive, motivated and comfortable contacting an existing database
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative branch team
