Salary: £26,000 basic + pension, life assurance, bonus & commission

Overview
Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to be representing a highly respected estate agency brand in Ashford, now seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team.
This is a rare opportunity for an individual with CeMAP 1 (or equivalent) to enter the mortgage industry with full training, financial support, career progression and exceptional earning potential. Working closely with an established estate agency team, you will gain real hands-on experience while building a long-term career in mortgage and protection advice.

What You Will Do
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Ashford, you will:
• Assist clients in securing suitable mortgage and protection solutions
• Build rapport with new and existing clients to understand their financial needs
• Conduct fact-finds and help compare mortgage products across lenders
• Offer remortgage advice to existing database clients
• Work alongside estate agency colleagues to maximise lead opportunities
• Learn how to navigate the full mortgage process from application to completion
• Receive structured training and coaching from experienced industry professionals
• Work towards performance goals while developing your advisory skills
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this Ashford Trainee Mortgage Advisor role, you will need:
• CeMAP 1 qualification (minimum requirement)
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, driven and ambitious attitude
• Full UK driving licence and clean credit history
Salary, Training & Benefits
• £26,000 basic salary
• OTE £55,000 – £65,000
