Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker in Aylesbury, you will:
• Learn the mortgage and protection market, products and FCA regulations
• Support and advise estate-agency-referred clients on tailored mortgage solutions
• Conduct detailed fact-finds to understand clients’ financial objectives
• Research appropriate mortgage products using a panel of lenders
• Help guide clients through the mortgage process from initial consultation to completion
• Prepare, submit and monitor mortgage applications
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors and estate agents to progress applications smoothly
• Keep clients fully updated throughout their mortgage journey
• Attend training sessions, coaching and workshops to enhance skills
• Work towards achieving performance targets and sales goals
Key Requirements
To succeed as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Aylesbury, you will need:
• CeMAP 1 qualification (minimum requirement)
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience
• Full UK driving licence & clean credit history (essential for FCA checks)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Motivated, coachable, and eager to build a long-term career
