Self-Employed Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker – Hybrid – Multiple Locations
Locations: Oxford, West Oxford, Bicester, High Wycombe, Slough, Newbury, Reading
Hybrid Working: 3 days office-based in your assigned branch, 2 days from home
Remuneration: Self-Employed | OTE £70,000 – £90,000+

Overview
Cameron James Professional Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading, high-performing estate agency group operating across Oxford, West Oxford, Bicester, High Wycombe, Slough, Newbury and Reading, seeking experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Advisors / Mortgage Brokers to join their growing teams across multiple branches.
These locations offer exceptional footfall, strong market share, and consistent lead flow. Many branches average high monthly property sales with property values typically ranging between £350,000 – £550,000, yielding strong case sizes and excellent commission potential.
This role delivers the perfect combination of flexibility and performance, with a hybrid structure of 3 days in-branch and 2 days working from home, plus only 1 in 4 Saturdays (remote). Brokers benefit from reliable pre-booked leads, strong introducer relationships, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Across any of the locations listed, you will:
• Conduct in-depth consultations and complete full fact-finds
• Advise on whole-of-market mortgage products tailored to each client
• Explain mortgage and protection options clearly and professionally
• Manage cases end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent service
• Liaise with lenders, underwriters, solicitors, and estate agency introducers
• Offer protection advice including life, critical illness and income protection
• Build lasting relationships with branch colleagues and clients
• Maximise every lead opportunity to drive high earnings
The Ideal Candidate
You will be successful in this role if you are:
• An experienced Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker (minimum 2 years)
• Knowledgeable across whole-of-market products and lender criteria
• A strong communicator able to explain complex financial information simply
• Organised and capable of managing multiple active cases
• Motivated, entrepreneurial and focused on high earnings
• Proficient with mortgage sourcing tools and CRM systems
• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
