We are recruiting a motivated and ambitious individual to join our client’s dynamic team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Westcliff. Training Provided?
This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. The training is hosted by a dedicated Learning & Development Team, who are committed to ensuring that each individual reaches their full potential. With extensive, industry-leading on-the-job training and coaching, the comprehensive training is well equipped to set you on the path to becoming a successful Mortgage and Protection Adviser.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Conduct consultations to assess client circumstances and recommend suitable mortgage products.
- Research mortgage options and submit applications to lenders.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure a smooth process.
- Provide clients with ongoing updates and excellent customer service.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Actively participate in training programs to develop your skills as a Trainee Mortgage Broker.
Benefits of joining our client:
- Basic annual salary of £25,000 including car allowance
- Training support package of £500 per month for your first six months of employment
- Realistic on-target earnings of £35,000 to £45,000 per year
- Fully uncapped commission scheme
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £25,000, including car allowance, with financial guarantees equating to £31,000 for the first six months.
- OTE: £45,000 in year 1, rising to £65,000 in subsequent years.
- Pension, life assurance, bonus, and commission opportunities.
Who can apply for this Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker role?
- Must hold a CeMAP 1 qualification
- A passion to succeed in the financial sector
- A keen interest in the financial market
- Experience within a sales environment OR experience within finance or banking is highly desired, but not essential
- Excellent customer service is essential
- Be able to captivate the hearts and minds of clients
- Demonstrate a willingness to succeed
- A strong work ethic
What We’re Looking For:
- CeMAP 1 (or equivalent) qualification (essential).
- Proven sales experience, ideally in financial or customer service roles.
- Clean credit history and a full UK driving license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Team-oriented with the drive to succeed in a competitive industry.
