Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Pension and Investment Administrator & Researcher to join a reputable Chartered Financial Planning firm in Hailsham. This role will involve providing essential administrative support and conducting research to assist our financial planning team in delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Pension Administration:
- Process pension transfers, switches, and retirements.
- Update client records and maintain accurate pension information.
- Prepare and submit pension-related paperwork to providers.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on pension options.
- Investment Administration:
- Manage investment portfolios, including rebalancing and fund switching.
- Prepare investment reports and performance analysis.
- Assist with the onboarding of new investment clients.
- Monitor investment markets and identify potential opportunities.
- Research:
- Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare research reports and presentations to support the financial planning team.
- Assist with the development of investment strategies.
- Client Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in pension and investment administration.
- Strong understanding of pension and investment products, regulations, and tax implications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- A Level 4 qualification in financial services (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
